Way back in 1977, a young Juice Newton and her partner Otha Young wrote a track called “Sweet, Sweet Smile”. Karen Carpenter loved Juice’s demo and the song was released as a Carpenters a-side as well as appearing on their album “Passage”. Thirty-four years later, Juice has reclaimed the song as her own. Her brand-new recording will appear on her “Ultimate Hits Collection” – coming at the end of this month.
